Visual Art (Fantail)

Fantail Art
Hi, bloggers (supporters). In the last couple of weeks we have been working on our art for our school art exhibition. We've been focusing on endemic animals in art and inquiry. I picked a fantail. This is the process and what you need.

We used:

  • acrylic paint
  • brushes 
  • paper 

Process: 

  1. In the first week of art we had to pick a endemic animal I chose hector dolphin but then I picked a fantail. 
  2. The 2nd week we went on google drawing. We found a photo and sketched on it using poly line and scribble. 
  3.  So the first thing we did was to start to paint the background of the paper white. 
  4.  Next we started  to draw on it, We had to be press gently on it because the paint.
  5. It took a lot of work to draw but then we  had to pick  our colours to paint with 
  6. I picked black, blue, pink and purple
  7.  Finally I was done painting and my arm was hurt but I'm good now.
  8.  This is the finish masterpiece ( Finally )    ðŸ™‚

Tiritiri Matangi Trip

Tiritiri Matangi Trip
We went to Tiritiri Matangi. Tiritiri Matangi Island is a wildlife sanctuary and one of New Zealand's most important and exciting conservation projects. They have on the island  tuataras, wetas, birds and more. We had to be at school by 7:30. I woke up at 6:30 and got ready at 7:00 I got to school by maybe 7:40. The bus came at 7:50. The ferry was fun at first but then at the end it felt like I was about to throw up. Lots of girls were getting sea sick but the boys were just sleepy. There is a Tirtiri Matangi website if you want to see it click here. I learned that the  lighthouse keepers of Tiritiri Matangi were Barbara and Ray Walter.
