Math Tumble!

MATH TUMBLE!
Faakalofa lahi atu bloggers, today I will be blogging about my math tumble. For the past 2 weeks in maths we have been working on a math slideshow. On the math tumble we have set tasks. We have to have a math tumble because this week and last week our teachers have been testing. There are purple, red, middle green, light green and blue slides. Right now I am up to my Naming Fractions. In each class we have our own math tumble. I'm in Taimana, around our school we have classes and math groups that have a Maori name.

What I like about the slideshow is that the tasks get harder and harder (well not harder but it is kind of hard).  I liked the Multiplication and Division it was really hard but until I got the hang of it I thought it was easy. I think the task that was the hardest was the Proportions and Ratios. All of this is on our Chromebooks. But one of them we have to write down on a book, because we have to work out the answers from the NZCM red book. I also am doing the math worksheets but they are also online. On the blue slides it was based on the rugby world cup, we had a lot of sessions on this but we are still working on it.

We might get a knew slideshow for maths next week or the week after that week.  In reading and writing we have a rugby world cup side. It's all about Japan and what is happening in the rugby world cup. For these tumbles we have a tracking list. I am nearly done with my math slides. I'm not a big fan of maths but I would still try. I would rather learn it now then learn it when I'm older because it sounds a bit harden when in High School and Intermediate. Here is a little bit of my slideshow because I'm not finished but nearly there.

Beach Clean!

BEACH CLEAN UP!
Last term on the 27th of September on a Friday we to Waikowhai Bay to clean it up. We walked down at 11:00  in the morning and we came back at 2:00. We had to go clean up the beach because we couldn't go to the climate change march. We marched down there with our signs. While we were  .While we were there we split into teams of 6 or 5.  I was in Beyond group. I hated how there was so much rubbish when we got there. People were beeping there horns at us while we were walking down    .The weirdest things that I think we found were Clothes, Flower Pots and Crabs. I think the hardest thing about the beach clean up was how my gloves kept on getting wet and muddy. I loved how we were making the world better by cleaning up one beach. While me and my team were cleaning we went onto these rocks crabs started to craw out of them I was so scared that I didn't go near the rocks again. Near the sand there was some trees and some sand so we found a lot of rubbish there. For a while after that while we were cleaning I found out that my gloves were the wrong way so I had to change it to the right way. I think everyone can help clean up the earth and make it a better place. It's not like the earth got like that by itself it was only us no one else. Save the Earth if you want to live by 2045. Cleaning the beach was GREAT. Here are some photos from the day.
